Dr.Umesh Nippani CEO of Nippani EYE hospital approached us for a complete off-grid electrification of the hospital load, which included lights, medical equipment’s, air-conditioners, Lift, water pump, pressure-pump, microwave, refrigerator, television, etc.


Which would complement the method of idea and material used to construct his hospital which involved insulated hollow bricks, rain water harvesting, paint free wall, LED lighting among many others.


So, after a detailed analysis of the available roof space and the prevailing wind velocity with respect the total load involved, we had to discard the Lift, microwave, air-condition system apart from looping in to our power generating system as the roof space and with wind velocity was not appropriate for the total load involved.


Thus, the customer accepted our system configuration involving

  • 12 numbers 200Wp Green Power Polycrystalline Solar panels which constituted to 2400 watt.
  • 1 number 2000 watt 48v Aquila wind turbine.
  • 8 number of C10 rating tall Tubular batteries.
  • 1 number 5Kva 48vdc Off-Grid Hybrid Inverter.
  • Control panel for Wind turbine with wireless communication.
  • Control panel for Solar panel with wireless communication.
  • From this configuration, we could produce a minimum of – for 8-10 months
  • Solar Panel -10Kw
  • Wind turbine -15 kw
  • Total -25kw per day
  • Against 18kw required per day

There by generating a surplus of 7kw which will be stored in batteries which have a capacity of storing up to 14kw of power.


  • And, during rainy season of 2 months [ since it geographically low rain receiving region] there was a minimum of –
  • Solar Panel – 3Kw
  • Wind turbine -23 Kw
  • Total -26kw per day
  • Against 16kw required per day

There by generating a surplus of 10kw which will be stored in batteries which have a capacity of storing up to 14kw of power.


By this Wind and Solar Hybrid model, we have provided our client with the freedom of uninterrupted power on demand for all over the year
